Silver has the highest electrical conductivity of all metals.
Electrodeposited silver is best suited for engineering purposes
for electrical contact characteristics, high electrical and
thermal conductivity, wear resistance of load bearing surfaces
and optimal mirror electrical applications.

Gold (MIL-C-452046)
Gold is a precious metal, it does not oxidize in air. It is
ideally suited for electrical applications because its electrical
conductivity stays uniform over long periods of time. Gold
has good corrosion resistance and solderability, but is relatively
soft. Gold is commonly used in electrical switch contacts,
connector pins, and other applications where intermittent
electrical contact occurs.
